Lateness

All students are expected to arrive to school on time by 8:40am.
Students that arrive after 8:45am will be recorded as an L code (Late)
Students that arrive after 9am will be recorded a ‘U’ code (Register closed- unauthorised late) which can have an impact on their attendance. 
Being on time to school is very important as it is vital they attend tutor time in the mornings as this is where they will receive important messages and communications from their tutor.
If your child is running late to school, please call the school to let us know. Later arrivals will be logged for monitoring purposes.

Missing the bus

Students who miss their normal school bus, such as the Beccles Mini-bus/ Border Bus or their Suffolk County Taxi will be expected to get the next available public bus into school or arrange for someone to bring them in, such as a family friend/family member or taxi etc. 
Please call the school if your child has missed their transport. Missing transport is not a valid reason to be off school all day, this would be logged as an unauthorised absence.
